Business Spanish for the meetings you are already in

1on1Spanish gives you private Spanish lessons with qualified native teachers, online across the United States. Lessons built around your industry, your accounts and the conversations you have to hold this quarter.

Your Spanish does not have to be good. It has to be good enough to keep the room.

The cost of switching to English is not zero

You can run the meeting in English and everyone will be polite about it. What you lose is the aside, the joke, the sentence somebody says to the person next to them, and the version of you that your Spanish-speaking colleagues would have met.

People buy from, promote and trust the version of you they can talk to. When the language changes, so does that version.

That is the argument for this page, and it has nothing to do with grammar.

Where work Spanish actually breaks

It is rarely the presentation. You rehearsed that. It is everything around it.

  • The call

Four people on one line, one of them on speaker, nobody taking turns. Understanding a meeting is a different skill from understanding a person, and it is the one that gets practised least.

  • The follow-up

Writing back without sounding blunt or oddly formal. Spanish marks respect and distance in places English does not, and getting it wrong reads as rudeness rather than as a mistake.

  • The small talk

The five minutes before and after, where the relationship is actually built. Plenty of people can discuss a contract in Spanish and freeze completely on the weekend.

An online business Spanish course built around your work, not a syllabus

There is no business Spanish textbook here, because the vocabulary of a logistics manager and that of a nurse practitioner overlap by almost nothing. You bring the real material: the email you have to answer, the deck you have to present, the call you have on Thursday.

Your teacher works from that. The words you learn are the ones your job uses, in the order your job needs them.

Every plan includes unlimited AI practice for the repetition part, so the lesson time goes on the things a machine cannot judge: register, tone, and whether what you just said lands the way you meant it.

Spanish for work when the calendar is the problem

Twenty-five minutes is short on purpose. It fits between two meetings, it survives a bad week, and it is long enough to speak for most of it — which is the only thing that moves anybody forward.

You book the times you want and move them when work moves. Teachers are available early, late and across time zones, so the lesson does not depend on your Tuesday staying calm.

Everything runs in a browser, like the rest of our online Spanish classes: nothing to install on a work laptop you may not be able to install anything on.

Careers move and so do reasons. Plenty of people arrive for the client calls and stay because they want the language for themselves, which the plans allow: it is the same account whether you are here for work or simply to learn Spanish online.

Who your teacher is

Native speakers from Spain and Latin America, all of them trained to teach — not just to speak. In a work context that distinction shows up fast: a trained teacher hears why you keep making the same mistake and fixes the cause, instead of correcting the sentence and moving on.

If it matters which market you are dealing with, say so and we match the accent where the schedule allows. You can read how we choose our Spanish teachers before you book anything.

What business Spanish classes cost

Plans run from $84 a month for one lesson a week up to $264 a month for four. Every plan is one-on-one, 25 minutes, with a qualified native teacher. Book any teacher, any available slot. No weekly caps.

Same teachers and same monthly plans as everyone else — there is no corporate rate and no minimum term. Many people expense it; the invoice comes from the account and shows the plan and the month.

Every plan includes unlimited AI practice with our conversation partner, for the days between lessons.

Your first month is $1 — on any plan.

Questions people ask before they start

What is a business Spanish course, exactly?

For us it is a normal one-on-one plan where the material comes from your job: your emails, your calls, your industry vocabulary. There is no separate business textbook and no separate price. The difference is what your teacher chooses to spend the twenty-five minutes on.

Do you teach Spanish for a specific industry?

Yes, because you supply the industry. Bring the real documents and conversations and your teacher builds from them, which works for logistics, healthcare, construction, hospitality, sales and everything else people have brought us. What we do not do is hand you a generic list of business phrases.

Can my company pay for the lessons?

Yes. The plan is monthly and the invoice shows the plan and the period, which is normally all a reimbursement process needs. You can also start it yourself and move the billing later.

I can already hold a meeting in Spanish. Is this still for me?

Usually more than for a beginner. At that level the gap is register and speed rather than vocabulary, and both improve fastest with a teacher who tells you what you actually sounded like. Take the free level test and you will get an honest read on where you are.

How long until I can run a meeting in Spanish?

It depends on where you start and how often you speak, and anyone giving you a number without asking either question is guessing. What we can say is that meetings improve before general fluency does, because a meeting is a narrow, repeatable situation and that is exactly what one-on-one practice is good at.
