Questions people ask before they book
Is the Spanish level test really free?
Yes. No card, no charge, and no trial that quietly turns into a subscription. You give a name, an email and a time that suits you. You get your level and a plan recommendation at the end of the call, and you keep both whether or not you become a student.
How long does the Spanish level test take?
Between 15 and 20 minutes. It's one conversation with a teacher, booked at a time you choose, on a video call in your browser.
Do I need to know any Spanish to take the level test?
No. Complete beginner is a result, not a failure, and it's a common one. The teacher starts in English and moves into Spanish to see how far you can go. If the answer is not very far, that's exactly what they needed to know to start you in the right place.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
No. The test is a video call in your browser, but you can join with your camera off. The teacher is listening to how you speak, not looking at you.
What happens after the free level test?
You get your level, the two or three things holding you back, and which plan fits how fast you want to move. If you want to start, the first month is $1 on any plan, with no contract. If you don't, nothing happens. You keep the result and you're not enrolled in anything.
