1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of 1on1Spanish.com (the “Website”) and the purchase and use of the Spanish language learning services offered through the Website.

The Website and the 1on1Spanish service are operated by:

By registering, purchasing a service or using 1on1Spanish, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. The 1on1Spanish Service

1on1Spanish provides online Spanish language learning services based primarily on individual lessons between students and teachers.

Depending on the plan or service selected, the service may include:

• Live one-to-one Spanish lessons.
• Access to teachers.
• Online booking and class management.
• Learning materials.
• Progress tracking.
• Educational support and related digital services.

Specific features, number and duration of classes, booking availability and other characteristics will be those displayed for the relevant plan at the time of purchase.

3. User Registration

Certain services may require users to create an account.

Users are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keeping their login credentials confidential.
• Ensuring that their account is not used by unauthorised persons.
• Informing 1on1Spanish of any suspected unauthorised access.

Users may not impersonate another person or provide deliberately false information.

4. Plans, Packages and Prices

The plans, packages, subscriptions and prices available at any given time will be displayed on 1on1Spanish.com before purchase.

Prices will include or exclude applicable taxes as expressly indicated during the purchase process.

The characteristics of each plan —including the number of classes, class duration, booking options and validity period— will be those shown at the time of purchase.

Promotional offers may be subject to specific terms and eligibility requirements.

5. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available during checkout.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, the customer authorises Ringteacher Spain S.L. and its payment provider to charge the applicable subscription fee according to the billing frequency selected.

If a payment cannot be processed, access to some or all of the service may be temporarily suspended until payment is successfully completed.

6. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Where a plan operates as a recurring subscription, it will renew according to the billing frequency shown at the time of purchase unless the customer cancels or modifies the plan.

Customers may cancel their subscription without a minimum permanence period or cancellation penalty.

To prevent the next subscription charge, a cancellation or plan modification must be requested or completed at least 48 hours before the next billing date.

Cancellation does not normally affect services that have already been paid for. Unless otherwise indicated for a particular offer, the customer may continue using the service until the end of the current paid billing period.

7. Booking Classes

Classes are subject to teacher and timetable availability.

Users may book classes through the booking system made available by 1on1Spanish.

The availability of a particular teacher or time slot cannot be guaranteed indefinitely.

Some plans may allow different numbers of future bookings or provide additional booking flexibility.

8. Cancelling or Rescheduling a Class

A booked class may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 5 minutes before its scheduled start time, unless different conditions are clearly indicated for a particular plan or promotion.

Where the cancellation is made within the permitted period, no cancellation penalty will normally be applied and the class may be made available for future booking in accordance with the conditions of the user’s plan.

If the student fails to attend a scheduled class without cancelling it within the permitted period, the class may be considered consumed.

9. Unused Classes

The treatment of unused classes depends on the plan purchased.

Some plans may require classes to be used within the corresponding billing period, while others may allow unused classes to be carried forward.

The applicable conditions will be displayed as part of the plan information before purchase.

Classes may expire if they are not used within the validity period applicable to the relevant plan or package.

10. Teacher Availability

1on1Spanish aims to provide broad access to qualified Spanish teachers.

However, the availability of a specific teacher cannot be guaranteed.

Teachers may occasionally become unavailable due to illness, holidays, technical issues or other circumstances. In such cases, users may be offered alternative teachers or the opportunity to reschedule their class.

11. Technical Requirements

The user is responsible for having:

• A compatible device.
• A stable Internet connection.
• Any microphone, speaker, camera or other equipment required for the selected class format.
• A supported web browser or communication platform.

1on1Spanish is not responsible for classes affected by technical problems attributable to the student’s equipment, connection or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

12. Appropriate Use

Users must use the service in a lawful and respectful manner.

Users must not:

• Harass, threaten or abuse teachers or other users.
• Record or distribute classes without authorisation.
• Share access credentials with unauthorised third parties.
• Attempt to access systems or information without authorisation.
• Copy, reproduce or distribute proprietary educational materials without permission.
• Use the service for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive purposes.

Serious or repeated breaches may result in suspension or termination of access.

13. Educational Results

1on1Spanish provides language training and educational support but cannot guarantee a particular level of proficiency, examination result, professional outcome or learning speed.

Progress depends on factors including attendance, practice, previous knowledge, individual ability and engagement with the learning process.

14. Intellectual Property

The Website, its design, software, branding, texts, educational resources and other content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless expressly authorised, users may use materials solely for their own personal learning purposes.

No content may be copied, reproduced, sold, distributed or commercially exploited without prior permission from the relevant rights holder.

15. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Website and services available continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical incidents, third-party service failures, updates or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where possible, reasonable measures will be taken to minimise disruption.

16. Refunds

Refund rights will be governed by the conditions applicable to the service purchased and by mandatory consumer protection legislation.

Cancellation of a subscription prevents future renewals when carried out within the applicable deadline but does not automatically imply reimbursement of amounts already paid or services already provided.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

17. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

By using the Website, users acknowledge that they have been informed of how their personal data is processed.

18. Changes to the Service or Terms

Ringteacher Spain S.L. may modify these Terms where necessary to reflect:

• Changes to the service.
• New functionality.
• Legal or regulatory requirements.
• Technical or security requirements.

The version in force will always be published on 1on1Spanish.com.

Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated where required by applicable law.

19. Liability

Ringteacher Spain S.L. will be responsible for the performance of its obligations in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

1on1Spanish will not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control or by misuse of the service by the user.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply based on the customer’s place of residence.

Consumers may exercise any rights and access dispute resolution mechanisms available to them under applicable law.
